How It All Started
Perhaps my earliest memory is of sitting on a fence watching my dad hand sort fat cattle to send to market. The Schager family has owned and raised cattle for 4 generations. In the mid 1960s the first Charolais calf I owned won the first carcass contest at the county fair. Dad had me select my own cattle.
